Hen and Chick Metal Scratchers
started when Hen (Tessa—me—the mom) was having a Mother’s Day mini photoshoot and wanted to give all the moms that came a special gift. I bought a cheap font, some aluminum disks and a rainbow stamp to make 30 or so “mama” rainbow necklaces. I found metal stamping relaxing and fun; a new outlet for my creativity. I quickly invested (too much according to my husband) in different products and fonts and began stamping away. When Chick (Hen’s daughter-Emily) saw how much fun it was, she wanted to “start a business” Emily enjoys occasional stamping but at 6 years old really just supports her mom and gives her great ideas.
